I have to say my initial view of Front Street left me a bit nostaligic. A few things have changed. First of all - what's with the cranes? Shoot it looks just like Charlotte...
And of course, Triminghams is no longer. I mean the building's not even there - hence the cranes. And Smiths is now Brown & Co? And Coopers is spread out all over town. Go figure. I did spend some time in all the shops... I still really like The Irish Linen Shop http://www.bermudamall.com/irishlinenshop/ and The Island Shop http://www.islandexports.com/. I never buy anything there but it is nice to look.
After beating around town for a while, I met Jen at her new office over on Victoria Street and we went to lunch at Pickled Onion http://www.thepickledonion.com/index2.html (yes - I think is possibly a web-site for everything these days...)
