two weeks!

not much to say about that except need to start to think about what to pack

And so the count down begins.  I purchased my ticket.  Made plans with friends.  Now all I have to do is get a boatload of work done and pack.  I am getting excited.  It will be here before I know it.  And of course the pessimist says and it will be over just as fast.  Oh well.  I will make the most of it before during and after.  It will be nice to see old friends.  It will be comforting to see old places.  It will be interesting as always to see the changes.  And who woulda thought when I begged my dad to let me go that first time that it would be 19 years later and I would still be going back.  Hah!  I used some excuse like this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.  Well I guess it was.  We just never realised what a lifetime impact it would have.  So looking forward to it.
